About Brighter Dayz Inc

Our Background

Brighter Dayz is a nonprofit suicide awareness and prevention organization that focuses on raising awareness, educating, and serving as a resource to the community. Brighter Dayz is exempt from federal income tax under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) Section 501 (c)(3). Brighter Dayz was created in memory of Jaylan Moss. Jaylan committed suicide at the age of eleven on May 22, 2012. The suicide of someone you care about is a devastating tragedy. It happens in the best of families and to the best of people. SUICIDE DOES NOT DISCRIMINATE!!! We need to encourage each other to speak up, speak out, and be aware of the impact that suicide has on our society.

Our Mission

Within the belief that suicide is generally preventable, the goal of Brighter Dayz is to reduce suicide and self-destructive behaviors by providing emotional support, assistance, education and intervention as necessary to individuals that are faced with a crisis and to those that are affected by them. Our mission is to empower, encourage, inform and inspire as we instill a sense of hope in the future while making individuals aware of life's possibilities.
